HOLLYWOOD, CA — Dramatic capes, plunging necklines and oh, so many sequins — the 90th Academy Awards are all about the bold and the splashy.

The trend for 2017 was decidedly Old Hollywood glam with lace trim and metallic embellishments. It was Hollywood of another era. What mood will prevail at the 2018 Oscars, the year of #MeToo and Time's Up?
