SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA — As we head into the new week, we've rounded up the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.
Two people were hospitalized after a small aircraft crashed onto a golf course in Carson Sunday, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The crash did not result in a fire, officials said. It is unknown how many people were in the plane and what caused the crash as of Sunday.
In other news, Miguel Angel Aguilar, founder and CEO of the Self Made Training Facility, died three months after he was followed by robbers and shot outside his Bel Air home. He was 43. Three suspects have been arrested on murder and robbery charges.

Also, Arcadia City Councilmember Eileen Wang is linked to a man arrested on federal charges of trying to influence local elections on behalf of the People’s Republic of China, according to a report in the Los Angeles Times. Yaoning “Mike” Sun served as the campaign manager and close personal confidante of a person running in 2022 for a seat on the Arcadia City Council, according to a federal complaint. Individuals familiar with the case told The Times the complaint was referring to Wang.
