Los Angeles County woman, family cat recovering after rattlesnake bites on consecutive days (cbsnews.com) — A Palmdale woman and her cat are recovering after both were bitten on consecutive days by the same rattlesnake at their Los Angeles County home. 5. 10 hospitalized after rollover crash in Whittier, Los Angeles County firefighters say (cbsnews.com) — Ten people were hospitalized after a violent two-car rollover crash in Whittier Sunday night, with Los Angeles County firefighters reporting three victims in critical condition. The collision near Telegraph Road and Biella Way left one car on its side and another upside down, closing the intersection for nearly an hour while crews treated patients and cleared debris.
