Friends and fellow comedians are sharing memories of his humor and passion for Italian culture, highlighting how his work helped bring together the city's Italian American and comedy communities.
• Work truck stolen from Long Beach man with wife battling Stage 4 cancer (ktla.com) — A Long Beach plumber supporting his wife's Stage 4 cancer battle is asking Los Angeles-area residents to watch for his stolen 2006 Chevy 2500 work truck, taken near a Signal Hill Home Depot by the 405 and Atlantic. The theft wiped out his tools and livelihood, and his children have launched a GoFundMe to help him replace equipment and keep caring for his wife.
