Bob Barker's Death Revealed To Be Result Of Alzheimer's: Report
The longtime "The Price Is Right" host never publicly addressed being diagnosed with Alzheimer's before his death.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Longtime host of "The Price Is Right" Bob Barker's death last month was revealed to have been a result of Alzheimer's disease, TMZ reported.
According to Barker's death certificate, which was obtained by TMZ, he suffered from Alzheimer's. Barker never publicly addressed having the disease and it was unclear how long he had it, but doctors told TMZ he died years after his diagnosis.
Barker died on Saturday, Aug. 26 in his Los Angeles home at the age of 99. He was well known as the host of "The Price is Right," where he worked for 35 years. He earned 19 Emmys and a Lifetime Achievement award for his work on the daytime game show.

Barker also spent 20 years as host of the Miss USA Pageant and the Miss Universe Pageant. A longtime animal rights activist who daily urged his viewers to "have your pets spayed or neutered" and successfully lobbied to ban fur coats as prizes on "The Price Is Right," he quit the Miss USA Pageant in 1987 in protest over the presentation of fur coats to the winners.
