Bronny James, 18-Year-Old Son Of LeBron James, Suffers Cardiac Arrest

LOS ANGELES — Bronny James, the son of basketball legend LeBron James and a rising college athlete himself, suffered a cardiac arrest Monday, according to reports.
In a statement to TMZ, a family spokesperson said he was practicing and went into cardiac arrest but has since stabilized and left the intensive care unit. The family also thanked University of Southern California staff and asked for privacy as he recovers.
The 18-year-old point guard, who is LeBron's oldest son, announced his commitment to USC in May, according to ESPN. He is an incoming freshman and was one of the top high school prospects in the country.

Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin, who suffered an on-field cardiac arrest in January, offered his support.
"Prayers to Bronny & The James family as well," he posted on X, formerly known as Twitter. "Here for you guys just like you have been for me my entire process."

Former NFL quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III asked for prayers.
"When you get a chance send a prayer up for Bronny James," he posted on X. "... his continued recovery and health is what we all pray for."
