Brush Fire Breaks Out Near San Gabriel Dam
Firefighters are on the scene of a 100-acre brush fire dubbed the Gulch Fire near the San Gabriel Dam.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Firefighters are battling at least one brush fire near the San Gabriel Dam Monday afternoon.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department and Angeles National Forest officials reported a 100-acre brush fire burning near Mile Marker 21 along San Gabriel Canyon Road.
According to authorities, there may be two separate fires burning in the area above Azusa, with flames now burning in heavy brush.

The blaze has been dubbed the Gulch Fire.
No structures were immediately threatened by the blaze, which was burning in the Angeles National Forest, although there are power lines running through the area.
