ALHAMBRA, CA — A woman impersonated a delivery driver to case a home before clearing two men to break in to rob the house, according to Alhambra police.

Officers responded to a call in the 3300 block of Balzac Street after Kennisha Powell of Lake Elsinore was recorded standing outside the home holding a brown paper bag and apparently talking to a resident of the house through a security camera, asking if they had ordered DoorDash, police said in an Instagram post late last month.

Once the woman confirmed the home was vacant, she waited outside as a lookout and sent in Dejon Brown of Baldwin Park and Jerry Mullens of Los Angeles, who jumped the fence and forced entry, according to police.
