CA In Photos: Protesters Hit The Streets After Roe V. Wade News
Protesters passionately rallied in California upon news of the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe V. Wade.

CALIFORNIA — As news spread Friday of the overturning of Roe V. Wade, Californians quickly took to the streets to protest the Supreme Court's decision.
The court's 6-3 decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization was a thorough repudiation of the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade decision and a subsequent case on fetal viability, Planned Parenthood v. Casey. It also sets the stage for a patchwork of state laws across the country and a seismic shift in abortion rights.
According to the Associated Press, almost half of the states will choose to now ban abortions.

California, though, is one of four U.S. states that have affirmed the right to an abortion.
Starting around noon local time, downtown Los Angeles started to fill with protesters. The Bay Area was no different, with rally cries of, "Hey, hey, ho, ho...this Supreme Court has got to go."
