The holidays make a long-awaited return to Glendale with the arrival of The Americana at Brand's dazzling 80-foot white fir Christmas tree in the early morning of Monday, November 3. A cherished local tradition for more than 15 years, the annual tree arrival marks the start of the most festive time of year at Caruso’s very first mixed-use property.
Carefully chosen and sourced from the Mt. Shasta region of Northern California, the tree will travel down Brand Blvd. and Caruso Ave. via flatbed truck before being hoisted into place on The Green, where it will serve as the heart of The Americana at Brand’s holiday celebrations. Adorned with 12,000 glistening lights and 8,000 sparkling ornaments, the towering fir will illuminate Glendale’s skyline and create a picture-perfect backdrop for families, friends and visitors to gather, celebrate and capture the magic of the season.
Throughout November and December, The Americana at Brand will host festive seasonal programming, including nightly snowfalls beginning on November 13, special photo moments at Santa’s House beginning November 14, its beloved Santa Brunch at Trattoria Amici on December 7 and more – bringing warmth, wonder and joy to the community all season long.
Following the holidays, the Christmas tree is recycled for mulch and firewood, and 10 new white fir trees are planted in its place in Mt. Shasta.
