The Academy Museum is rolling with Skate Hunnies to host a party on wheels, taking you around the Wilshire-Fairfax neighborhood. We'll finish with a music-filled night of dance-skating on the Academy Museum Walt Disney Family Piazza.

About Skate Hunnies
The female-founded Skate Hunnies is the largest roller-skate community in LA. Skate Hunnies provides meetups, pop-up events, entertainment, skate lessons, and more. Since its inception in 2020, the group has fostered a mission to empower, inspire, and connect people and has touched thousands of lives. It strives to foster a supportive community that thrives on joy, shared experiences, and building confidence, especially among women skaters.

Group skate | Open to roller skaters and all people-powered wheels
Skate party zone | The breezeway from the Academy Museum Fairfax entrance to the end of the museum loading dock.

We prioritize a safe and organized environment. Participants must sign a digital waiver upon initial check-in by the Skate Hunnies team at the museum’s Fairfax entrance. Staff and instructors will be on site to provide safety and support. Please bring your own skates; no rentals will be available.
