Deputy Wounded In Accidental Shooting At Station In Los Angeles County
The gun wound is not considered life-threatening, and the deputy remained hospitalized in stable condition Saturday.

TEMPLE CITY, CA — A Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputy remains hospitalized in stable condition after being wounded in an accidental shooting at the department's Temple City station.
The shooting occurred at about 10 p.m. at the Temple City Sheriff's Station at 8838 E Las Tunas Drive, according to authorities.
"He was holstering his gun and he, shot himself," Deputy Eric Ortiz told Patch.

His injuries are not considered life-threatening, and he is expected to recover, according to Ortiz.
