Dozens Of Cars Damaged By Crowbar-Swinging Vandal

The suspect, who police warn is hostile to bystanders, smashed more than 30 cars in broad daylight in the Koreatown area.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Authorities are asking for help catching a man who vandalized about 30 parked vehicles in broad daylight in Koreatown Monday.

The man walked between Fourth and Seventh streets and Westmoreland Avenue to Virgil Avenue over a three-hour span starting at noon Monday smashing vehicles with a yellow crowbar, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The search continued Tuesday, police said.

The suspect is described as a male wearing a “Dallas” sweatshirt, black pants, black
slippers and carrying a neon green bag. He was caught on camera during the rampage.

"The suspect is known to be hostile toward bystanders," the LAPD said in a written statement. "Investigators believe there may be additional victims and are encouranging anyone with
information to come forward."
