Eclectic Furniture Retailer 'Joybird' To Join DTLA Line-Up

LOS ANGELES, CA — Joybird, a home-furnishings brand selling indoor and outdoor furniture, plus home decor, will move into a retail space in spring 2023 at ROW DTLA, in the Los Angeles Arts District, according to management.

Joybird, primarily an online purveyor of home goods, also operates a location at 8335 Melrose Ave., Los Angeles.

The DTLA shop will occupy 20,000 square feet, with such technology-centric companies as Virgin Hyperloop, Miro and UBtech, the company said. Approximately 16,000 square feet is dedicated office space, while another 4,300 square feet will be retail space.

“This configuration is ideal for us in a post-pandemic world,” said Gerardo Ornelas, Joybird general manager. “I’m confident this will be a huge step in the right direction to both inspire and meet the needs of our employees and customer base.”

The 30-acre, multi-mix ROW DTLA, at 777 S. Alameda St., features Michelin-starred restaurants, stores, workspaces and outdoor green areas, along with gallery pop-ups, outdoor markets and rooftop film screenings.
