Erewhon To Open At LACMA’s New $724M Building

The high-end grocer is coming to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

LOS ANGELES, CA — The Los Angeles County Museum of Art this week announced the newest addition to its renowned campus: An Erewhon.

The high-end, cult-favorite grocery store is partnering with LACMA to open a cafe at the David Geffen Galleries, the divisive, $724 million new building at LACMA that spans Wilshire Boulevard.

The cafe will feature coffee, matcha, pastries, smoothies, cold-pressed juices and a selection of grab-and-go meals and snacks, according to the museum.

Two additional dining options, a restaurant and wine bar, will open later this year.

The cafe will include indoor and outdoor seating overlooking Alexander Calder’s iconic fountain.

LACMA members attending previews of the new space will be able to enjoy food and drink at the Erewhon cafe beginning Sunday. It will be open to all on May 4.
