Firefighters To Air Lift Injured Griffith Park Hiker To Safety
Los Angeles fighters located a 48-year-old hiker with a non-threatening lower extremity injury at Griffith Park Saturday.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Los Angeles fighters located a 48-year-old hiker with a non-threatening lower extremity injury at Griffith Park Saturday, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Due to the terrain, access and nuture of his injury, rescue crews will conduct a hoist operation to lift the man to safety, officials said. The hiker was located in the 2800 block of EastObservatory Road, reports Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
