Flight Path Museum and Learning Center's Gala Fundraiser is a success
More than 300 guests attended Flight Path Museum's annual fundraiser where LAWA CEO Deborah Flint served as keynote speaker
The Flight Path Museum and Learning Center at Los Angeles International Airport hosted its annual gala fundraiser last week, celebrating 70 years of commercial airline service at the airport and the 100th anniversary of the Boeing Co.
The Gala XXI featured a keynote presentation by Deborah Flint, CEO of Los Angeles World Airports and remarks by Los Angeles City Council member Mike Bonin. It also included narrated bus tours of historic sites at LAX, ongoing improvement projects and tours of Virgin Australia's 777 prior to the buffet dinner and program. Seymour Kahn, former CEO of Mercury Air Group, was added to the museum’s Aviation Walk of Fame.
Proceeds from the event benefit the museum’s aviation-education and scholarship programs and this year’s winners were presented their awards during the program.
