'Gilmore Girls' Star Adam Wylie Arrested On Charge Of Shoplifting From Target: Report

The actor was arrested on suspicion of stealing $108 worth of items from a Burbank Target, TMZ reported.

BURBANK, CA — Adam Wylie, the former child actor known best for his roles in "Gilmore Girls" and "Picket Fences," was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting $108 of items from a Burbank Target, TMZ reported.

Police said Wiley shopped for health and beauty products, among other items, and brought his cart to a self-checkout. He scanned only some of his items before leaving the store and was nabbed by store security outside, according to TMZ.

The recovered items totaled $108. Burbank Police Department officers cited him for petty theft before releasing him, TMZ reported.

Wiley, 39, had a prolific career as a child actor in the 1990s before transitioning to older roles in the following decade. He appeared a series regular in the CBS drama "Picket Fences" from 1992-96, earning several awards for his role as Zack Brock.

He appeared in a six-episode recurring role as Brad Langford, one of Rory Gilmore's classmates, in the cult comedy-drama "Gilmore Girls."

More recently, Wiley appeared in the 2022 Disney Channel movie "Under Wraps 2" and is credited with providing additional voices in "The Mitchells vs the Machines" and "Arcane."
