LOS ANGELES, CA — A 10-year-old girl suffered a medical emergency and died Thursday on a Delta flight bound for Seattle after it took off from Los Angeles International Airport.
The plane returned to the gate shortly before 6 p.m., and Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics worked aggressively to try to save her. However, she was pronounced dead at the scene, according to fire department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart and Los Angeles Airport Police.
