Heinz this week launched a new innovation — a cardboard French fry box that includes a built-in compartment for ketchup or other sauces.

"Whether balancing sauce packets on car dashboards or squeezing ketchup directly onto individual fries, fans have long struggled to enjoy their favorite pairing away from the table," reads a release from the company.

"The Heinz Dipper directly tackles these pain points with a simple, intuitive and mess-free design that makes dipping effortless anywhere, anytime," the release continues.

The cardboard contraption will debut in 11 countries worldwide with limited availability. There's only one restaurant chain in California where it's available — Fat Sal's Deli, which has locations across Los Angeles County.

The Heinz Dipper was also set to be available at USC's Galen Center during the men's basketball game against Purdue on Saturday.
