Kanye West Accused Of Hitting Fan Who Asked For Autograph
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating an alleged battery involving the rapper known as Ye.

LOS ANGELES, CA —Los Angeles police are investigating rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, for allegedly striking a fan outside a club in downtown Los Angeles early Thursday morning.
The incident occurred outside the exclusive SoHo Warehouse in downtown Los Angeles at about 3 a.m. Thursday. A fan told police the rapper struck him after he asked for an autograph.
The Los Angeles Police Department was called to the scene at Santa Fe Avenue and Bay Street and took a battery report. The rapper was a "named suspect" in the report , according to he LAPD.

According to Fox11, which broke the story, Ye was gone by the time police arrived. A man told Fox he saw the rapper sitting in his car outside the club when he apporached to get an autograph. He alleges Ye got out of the car, called him names and knocked him to the ground.
No arrests were reported, and no other details were being released, police said. The incident is considered a misdemeanor.
