LOS ANGELES, CA — As the weekend wraps up, we've rounded up all the stories you may have missed Saturday and Sunday to prepare you for Monday.

But before we jump into Southern California’s top stories, Golden State residents should know that statewide, a man suspected of killing six men and wounding a woman around Stockton was arrested Saturday morning wearing a mask around his neck and carrying a gun. Stockton Police Chief Stanley McFadden said he thinks that Wesley Brownee, 43, was “out hunting” for his next victim.

Also this weekend, the San Diego Padres stunned sports fans in an upset win over the Los Angeles Dodgers, whom ESPN experts said had a “93.5% chance” of winning. After a 5-3 win, the Padres will face the Philadelphia Phillies in their first National League Championship Series game since 1988.

Scattered thunderstorms and rain were also reported around the Southland, providing the drought-stricken region with some much needed water and cool temperatures. Portions of Riverside County and the Coachella Valley were even under flood watch Saturday, though no regions reported substantial flooding.
