Power Outage Affects Nearly 3K In Playa del Rey
Full restoration of power was expected between 6 and 6:30 p.m.
PLAYA DEL REY, CA — Power was restored to about 2,245 LA Department of Water and Power customers in the Playa del Rey area Saturday, with efforts underway to restore the rest of the power later Saturday evening.
The outage occurred at about 8:30 a.m. Saturday, the utility's Lourdes Rodriguez told City News Service. Full restoration was expected between 6 and 6:30 p.m.
The cause of the outage was under investigation, Rodriguez said.
