LA Couple Welcomes Quadruplets On The Fourth Of July

LOS ANGELES — A Los Angeles family welcomed four new babies on the Fourth of July, according to reports.

Sara Kahan Gutovich gave birth to quadruplets Tuesday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, reports said.

The two boys and two girls were born via C-section, with each weighing over 4 pounds at roughly 34 weeks, KTLA reported. Forty labor and delivery staffers and four neonatal intensive care unit teams were on hand, according to NBC Los Angeles.

The babies may be in the ICU for a few weeks, NBC Los Angeles reported, adding Kahan Gutovich and her partner, Jay Gutovich, are waiting until they get to know the quadruplets better before naming them. With the four new additions, the parents now have five children, according to KTLA — their 3-year-old son is now a big brother.
