LA Firefighters Knock Out Blaze In One-Story Home

A vacant one-story home caught fire Saturday morning, but firefighters were able to quickly contain the blaze.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Los Angeles Firefighters responded to a blaze in a vacant one-story home Saturday morning. Some 31 firefighters were able to knock down the fire quickly.

Firefighters were dispatched at 9:31 a.m. to 5877 S. San Pedro St. and had the fire out within 11 minutes of their arrival, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
