Man Hit By Vehicle While Walking On 10 Freeway In Mid-City Area
A 45-year-old man was killed Sunday when he was struck by a vehicle while walking on the Santa Monica Freeway.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A 45-year-old man was killed Sunday when he was struck by a vehicle while walking on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway in the Mid- City area of Los Angeles.
The crash occurred at 3:24 a.m. on the westbound freeway at La Brea Avenue, according to Officer Patrick Kimball of the California Highway Patrol.
The motorist in the vehicle, a 20-year-old woman, called the CHP to report that she hit a person, Kimball said. She was not injured. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
