Masked Robbers Slam Van Into Beverly Grove Chanel Store, Again
It's the second time in less than four months that robbers used a van to crash through the store's security gate.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Robbers used a Mercedes sprinter van to slam into the Chanel store at the Beverly Grove Tuesday morning, but it was unclear what they were able to steal before an armed security guard confronted them, according to authorities.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department and Fox11, the robbers used a stolen gray van to break into the shop at 125 North Robertson Boulevard just before 3 a.m. Tuesday.
Soon after the thieves crashed through the store's security gate and into the store, an armed security guard confronted the masked suspects, Fox 11 reported. They left the van partially inside the store and fled on foot. They were last seen heading east on Robertson.
