LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA — Memorial Day 2022 is Monday, May 30 — a federal holiday honoring men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military.

And the preceding weekend now is celebrated as the unofficial kick-off to summer. And right in the holiday mix is National Hamburger Day, landing this year on Saturday, May 28.
