Model Christy Giles Left for Dead At LA Hospital By Masked Men
Model Christy Giles and a friend were dumped at separate LA area hospitals. She later died, and her friend is on life support.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Authorities Thursday were investigating the death of model Christy Giles, who was dumped at a Los Angeles hospital by three masked men dressed in black, according to her husband.
The 24-year-old model's mother told the New York Post she believes her daughter had been drugged and assaulted. Los Angeles Police, however, have released few details about the investigation. Also, on Saturday, Giles' friend Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola was dropped at another Los Angeles area hospital. She reportedly remains on life support without brain activity.
The model's mother Dusty Giles said she does not believe her daughter suffered an accidental overdose.

“If it was an accidental overdose, why not call 911?” she said to the New York Post? “Why do you wait 10 hours until she is dead to fling her on a sidewalk, remove your license plates, obscure your face?”
Giles' husband, Jan Cilliers, was quoted in published reports as saying video exists of three masked men dressed in black who pulled up to the hospital and pushed the model's body out of a Toyota Prius without a license plate. Investigators interviewed the men believed to be the last to see the women alive at a West Hollywood apartment following a Los Angeles warehouse party, reported the Daily Mail.

Giles said her daughter was trained in self-defense and would have fought the men had she not been drugged in some way.
Giles' cause of death has been listed as "deferred pending additional investigation," the Los Angeles County coroner's office reported.
Los Angeles police declined further comment on the case, citing the ongoing investigation.
The investigation is being handled by the LAPD'S west bureau homicide detectives. Anyone with information about the case can call 877-LAPD-247, or Crime Stoppers at800-222-TIPS.
