Real-Life 'Squid Game' Experience Coming To LA
Fans of the Netflix mega-hit can see if they have what it takes to survive in the world of the show later this year in Los Angeles.

LOS ANGELES — Think you could survive in the world of “Squid Game?” Fans of the Netflix mega-hit will be able to experience the high stakes of the show in person through an immersive experience coming later this year to Los Angeles.
The streaming service announced Thursday that the event, called Squid Game: The Trials, will open Dec. 6.
“Squid Game: The Trials promises to transport you to the high-stakes Squid Game universe for a thematic IRL competition, complete with cutting-edge technology, like no other,” according to a Netflix news release. “After greeting the iconic Front Man himself, you will tackle a series of escalating challenges, accumulating points as you advance.”

Following the game, there will be a night market with Korean and international bites curated by chef Katianna Hong as well as themed merchandise and photo opportunities.
Squid Game: The Trials comes on the heels of similar immersive experiences based on other Netflix favorites such as “Bridgerton” and “Stranger Things.”

There is a waitlist for those who want to buy tickets first. Sales to the general public will begin 10 a.m. PST on Oct. 11, and tickets will start at $39. The event will run Wednesdays to Sundays at 7800 Beverly Blvd.
