Skylight Books Plans 2nd LA Location
The bookstore says its second location has enough room for a cafe.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Skylight Books, the beloved Los Feliz staple, is planning to open a second location.
The bookstore plans to open up on Colorado Boulevard in Eagle Rock some time this fall, its owners announced last week.
The new space, located a few blocks east of Eagle Rock Boulevard, is nearly 6,000 square feet and will have room for a cafe, according to Skylight.

"Don't worry — we're not leaving Los Feliz. This location will be in addition to our current home, where we'll be celebrating 30 years this fall," reads an Instagram post from Skylight.
Skylight's future Eagle Rock home is located in the building that formerly housed The Coffee Table, which closed after 20 years in 2017. At least one other eatery leased the space following the coffee shop's closure.
