Stan Lee, Marvel Comic Legend, Accused Of More Misconduct: Report
Lee, 95, co-creator of Spider Man, the X-Men and The Incredible Hulk, has now been reportedly accused of sex misconduct against a masseuse.
WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA — UPDATE: Two days after a lawyer for Stan Lee vehemently denied accusations of sexual misconduct against his young in-home nurses, the Marvel legend has reportedly now been accused of similar misconduct against a masseuse.
The Daily Mail, citing a source with knowledge of the accusations, reported on Thursday that Lee 95, was accused of groping a female masseuse at a hotel in Chicago in April 2017. The source said he was accused of demanding sex and performing a sex act in front of the masseuse.
The source told the news outlet that the masseuse claimed Lee and his manager were both intoxicated at the time of the incident. She said he was "out of control" and that she rebuffed his grope and request for sex, the source said. Lee then began performing a sex act on himself as she massaged him, the source said. The woman complained to Lee's associates and "apparently has demanded money," the person added.

Lee is the former president and chairman of Marvel who helped create some of the most numerous comic book heroes including Spider-Man, the X-Men and The Incredible Hulk. The Mail said his lawyer Tom Lallas confirmed the existence of the latest allegations and said Lee categorically denies them. Lee will fight to protect his "stellar good name and impeccable character," the statement said, and he has not offered any money to settle the claim.
Lallas said the latest accusation was another example of extortion and blackmail. It follows a report on Tuesday by the Mail, citing a source, that a regular stream of young nurses went to Lee's home in West Hollywood and that they complained he groped them and demanded they perform sex acts on him. The nurses said he walked around naked and found the sexual harassment funny, the person said.

"He walks around naked and is vulgar towards the women, he asks them for oral sex in the shower and wants to be pleasured in his bedroom," the source said. "He uses the word p---y and f--k in their presence."
The source also said the owner of the nursing company has told people Lee sexually harassed "every single nurse" who has been to his home.
Lallas "categorically" denied the allegation, and said various anonymous individuals have tried to extort his client for money. In a statement to Patch, Lallas called the claims "false and defamatory."
"Various anonymous individuals have attempted to extort money from Mr. Lee based on false allegations, but when we have asked them to identify themselves and provide their full legal names and contact information, they have, not surprisingly, gone radio silent," the statement said.
The Daily Mail didn't identify the nursing company but said a representative for the firm confirmed the female owner received several complaints. The nurses who rotated shifts at Lee's home, were responsible for taking his blood pressure, bringing him food and drinks and ensuring he took his medication.
The company stopped working for Lee at the end of 2017, the news outlet said.
Lallas, the attorney, sent a cease and desist letter to the female owner of the nursing company on Dec 20. He said the the allegations haven't been brought into a court of law.
"Lee categorically denies these false and despicable allegations and he fully intends to fight to protect his stellar good name and impeccable character," Lallas said. "We are not aware of anyone filing a civil action, or reporting these issues to the police, which for any genuine claim would be the more appropriate way for it to be handled."
He added: "Instead, Mr. Lee has received demands to pay money and threats that if he does not do so, the accuser will go to the media. Mr. Lee will not be extorted or blackmailed, and will pay no money to anyone because he has done absolutely nothing wrong."
Lee was born in in New York City in 1922. He worked as an office assistant for Timely Comics in 1939 and the company later became Marvel Comics. Lee eventually would serve as Marvel's president, chairman and publisher. He's credited with helping create hundreds of characters beginning in the early 1960s, including the Fantastic Four, Thor, Captain America and Doctor Strange, all of which have been turned into blockbuster films.
In 1994, Lee was inducted into the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame. He's reportedly worth an estimated $50 million.
Patch reached out to the nursing home involved in the accusations and will update if we hear back.
