Taco-Stand Robbery Spree: Armed Men Stole Cash From 6 LA Vendors In 2 Hours, LAPD Says
Several armed robbers stole cash at gunpoint from taco stands from Hollywood to Downtown LA Wednesday night, police said.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Police are searching for several men suspected of robbing six different taco vendors at gunpoint during a two-hour spree Wednesday night, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Between 9:30 and 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night, the men approached victims at the taco stands demanding money while displaying a handgun. They then made off with the cash in a white sedan, the LAPD said.
The suspects hit vendors in Hollywood, Westlake, Echo Park and Downtown:

- 5900 block of Santa Monica Boulevard
- 6200 block of Hollywood Boulevard
- 300 block of South Bixel Avenue
- 600 block of South Union Avenue
- 1500 block of North Alvarado Boulevard
- 900 block of South Broadway
The LAPD described the suspects as two to four Black men in their mid 20s to early 30s who were dressed in dark clothing.
