Taylor Swift Cancels All 2020 Shows, Citing Coronavirus Concerns
Taylor Swift has cancelled all her upcoming shows and live performances for the remainder of 2020.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Taylor Swift has cancelled all her shows and live appearances for the remainder of 2020, citing concerns about the coronavirus outbreak and the safety of her fans.
Swift announced the move with a post over social media Friday, reading in part:
"Fighting COVID_19 is an unprecedented challenge for our global community and the safty and wellbeing of fans should always be the top priority. Health organiszations and governments around the world have strongly discouraged large public gathers for an undetermined period of time... ...in an effort to keep fans safe and help prevent the spread of COVID-19, sadly the decision has been made to cancel all Taylor Swift live appearances and performances this year."
Swift goes on to say that she's sorry to all her fans she wont be able to see in concert this year, but that shes positive this is correct decision.

According to the post, all of Swift's currently scheduled shows in the U.S. and Brazil will be postponed to 2021. The dates for those shows will be announced sometime in the coming months.
Ticket holders for any current shows will see their tickets transferred to the rescheduled shows automatically, but anyone who wants a refund for the U.S. Lover Fest shows can apply for one on Ticketmaster starting next month.

Before the announcement, Swift had been set for a tour of Europe beginning with a show in Werchter, Belgium on June 20.
