Body Found in Huntington Harbor Was Missing Man

A body found in the Huntington Harbor was identified today as a 58-year-old man reported missing from Huntington Beach by his family on Dec. 31.

Foul play is not suspected in the death of Huntington Beach resident Larry Sarver, who was identified by the Orange County coroner’s office.

An autopsy will determine his cause of death.

A kayaker spotted Sarver’s body in the harbor was made about 5 p.m. Friday, authorities said.
