Car Plows Through Shops at Rossmoor Storefront

A senior citizen crashed a car through the plate- glass windows of a Seal Beach clothing store today, but the driver and his wife escaped with minor injuries, an Orange County fire captain said.

The crash happened about 2:40 p.m. at New York & Company at 12181 Seal Beach Blvd., according to Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Steve Concialdi.

The man and his wife, whose names were not released, suffered minor cuts and bruises and were taken to an area hospital for treatment, Concialdi said.

No one in the store was hurt, he said.
