Fullerton Traffic Signal Crash Kills Driver, Injures Passenger
A driver in Fullerton was killed this morning when his car struck a traffic signal. The passenger in the vehicle was injured.
Fullerton, CA--A man was killed this morning and his passenger was injured when the Saturn car he was driving struck a traffic signal in Fullerton, authorities said.
The crash was reported at about 7:30 a.m." Fullerton police Sgt. Jon Radus said. The vehicle struck a traffic signal at Gilbert Street and Hughes Drive.
The man was taken to UCI Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, Radus said. The female passenger was also taken to UCI for treatment of minor injuries.

Gilbert Street was shut down between Hughes Road and Pioneer Avenue for the accident investigation, he said.
