ORANGE COUNTY, CA – Four juveniles were arrested today after they allegedly broke into a storage container at Brookhaven Elementary School in Placentia and stole sports equipment and rubber chickens.
At 1:33 a.m., officers were dispatched to a burglary in progress at the school at 1851 N. Brookhaven Ave., said Sgt. Adam Gloe of the Placentia Police Department.
A resident in the area saw the juveniles breaking into the storage container on the campus, Gloe said.
Officers arrived on scene within minutes and began setting up a perimeter around the campus, quickly detaining two of the juveniles as they were trying to run away, Gloe said. Those juveniles had property on them that had been stolen from the school, he added.
