Police Nab Suspect in Seal Beach Kohl's Armed Robbery
Police say they arrested a man with a long rap sheet as he was making his getaway from an armed robbery at The Shops at Rossmoor.
SEAL BEACH, CA - An Anaheim man with a lengthy criminal record was arrested today on suspicion of robbing the Kohl’s store in Seal Beach.
Police arrived at the scene at 2:39 p.m., just before the suspect was leaving the store at 12345 Seal Beach Blvd., said Seal Beach Police Department Sgt. Michael Henderson.
The department received a description of the suspect and took up positions outside the front door of the store. As he left the store, he was confronted by loss prevention personnel, Henderson said.

The suspect pulled a CO2 pellet gun and was confronted by Seal Beach police and dropped the weapon. He fled and was caught after a brief foot pursuit, Henderson said.
Alex Preciado was booked on numerous charges, Henderson said.
