Seal Beach Police Department Installs Digital Surveillance Trailer

The trailer was installed in light of recent local burglaries.

The Seal Beach Police Department parked a portable trailer equipped with elevated digital surveillance cameras in the 4600 block of Guava, Seal Beach, on Nov. 7 in response to several nearby residential burglaries.

The equipment was purchased through a federal grant. It runs through battery power, stores to an internal memory drive and can be set up anywhere.

ā€œThis is an example of the Seal Beach Police Department making the best use of county assets and technology to enhance public safety,ā€ Sgt. Phil Gonshak of SBPD said.
