Unidentified BB Gunman Shoots Man On Beach Boulevard

STANTON, CA — Early Monday, a man on Beach Boulevard and Yorkshire Avenue was shot in the face according to Orange County Sheriff's Department officers.

An unknown man was shot with a BB gun by a man in a dark sedan, OCSD Lt. Nathan Wilson said.

"It happened just before 2:30 a.m., at the Beach and Yorkshire area," Wilson said.

The man was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening wounds.

"We are still trying to figure out what led up to the shooting," he said.

There is no word as to whether this was a random shooting, or if the incident is related to random BB gun shootings from last summer.
