โข LASD eyes BCS enrollment impact as 10th site breaks ground (losaltosonline.com) โ Los Altos School District has broken ground on its long-planned San Antonio TK-8 campus, intended as a new "10th site" for Bullis Charter School and slated to open in 2028. As construction ramps up, trustees are closely weighing how BCS's rising out-of-district enrollment affects LASD finances, facilities agreements, and potential future negotiations under Proposition 39.

โข Chinese Immigrants Led the First Mass Resistance to America's Deportation System (kqed.org) โ Los Altos historian Connie Young Yu is using documents preserved in her Los Altos home to spotlight how Chinese immigrants mounted a massive civil disobedience campaign against the 1892 Geary Act. Her Geary Act Project links that history of exclusion and resistance to today's immigration enforcement debates, while inviting families to share long-hidden certificates from across the Bay Area.
