A Definite 'Don't Miss': 'Now & Then' at Los Altos History Museum
This holiday, travel through time, and see the Christmas-decked 1905 orchardist J. Gilbert Smith's house, too!

This holiday, travel through time – “Now & Then” at the Los Altos History Museum.
Two Sundays in December – 7 & 14, 1-3pm
The public is invited to step into two worlds – the “Now” of Silicon Valley, and the “Then” of the Valley of Heart’s Delight--on two successive Sundays in December, from 1-3pm on the 7th and 14th at the Los Altos History Museum.
See the “Now” on display in Silicon Valley: The Lure & the Legends—an original new exhibition featuring the visionaries and risk-takers connected to Los Altos/Hills who helped create Silicon Valley.

The History Museum will also feature a fully stocked store and a delightful Christmas tree in 1950s and up “tech” styling. “Then” travel farther back in time when agriculture, not technology, made this area a world economy.
Visit orchardist J. Gilbert Smith’s house for a unique holiday experience: the 1905 redwood Craftsman will be decorated for the season, with docents to share the story of this beautifully preserved home. (Scroll down to see video.)
