• Stuart 'Stu' Farwell (padailypost.com) — Los Altos is mourning Stuart "Stu" Farwell, an 87-year-old former Fire Marshal and Assistant Fire Chief who devoted more than four decades to local fire safety and community service. A longtime volunteer with Christ Episcopal Church and the Los Altos Art & Wine Festival, he will be honored at a memorial service there on Sunday, September 27, at 1 p.m.
