LOS GATOS - A man fatally shot at a home in unincorporated Los Gatos last week during a home invasion robbery has been identified.
The shooting victim, identified as Robert Harden, was found suffering from a single gunshot wound at a home in the 21400 block of Madrone Drive on May 11, according to a document filed in court by Santa Clara County sheriff's Sgt. Brendan Omori.
The suspect, 43-year-old Andre Redmon of San Francisco, and another man had entered the home around 8 a.m. that day with handguns and demanded Harden's money and other property, Omori said.

The resident was held at gunpoint as he led the suspects to the master bedroom, where the suspects repeatedly asked where the money was, according to Omori.

Redmon allegedly bound the resident with duct tape and searched the rest of the home with the other man, Omori said.
The suspects allegedly laid in wait and bounded another person who entered the home around 10:30 a.m. with duct tape, according to Omori.
Harden then arrived home at some point and a confrontation with the suspects escalated to a physical struggle and six gunshots were fired, Omori said.
One of the two bounded victims who was able to break free saw the suspects flee in a Toyota Prius with green paper plates and a tan Toyota pickup truck toward state Highway 17, the sergeant said.
The information was relayed to deputies and one of them saw the Prius that matched the victim's description speeding on northbound Highway 17, Omori said.
The deputy attempted to pull over the suspect vehicle in Los Gatos but the driver, later identified as Redmon, allegedly sped away, according to Omori. A pursuit ensued on the freeway until Redmon crashed at the East Hamilton Road off-ramp in Campbell.
Redmon allegedly ran away, but was quickly detained by deputies, Omori said. A passenger found injured in the Prius was transported to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, where he was pronounced dead, according to Omori.
The passenger's name has not been released as of this morning, according to the sheriff's office.
Investigators found a black vest and glove with blood in addition to Redmon's cellphone and wallet near the crash scene, Omori said.
Deputies also found a "to do" list that included a note to buy more bullets and another that included the Madrone Drive address, according to Omori.
Redmon made an initial appearance in court on May 13 on two charges of murder and is scheduled to return to court on May 31 for a plea hearing, according to court documents.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help Harden's family that has raised $27,540 of its $35,000 goal as of late this Thursday morning.
