The City of Malibu and the Malibu Film Society invite everyone in the community to attend two drive-in movies for a family-friendly evening of holiday fun on Friday, December 11 and Saturday, December 12.

The films will be screened on a giant, three-story screen at the Chili Cookoff site located on the corner of Stuart Ranch Road and Civic Center Way. Advanced registration is required at $40 per vehicle with proceeds benefiting the Malibu Film Society. Gates open at 5:30 PM and the films start at 6:30 PM.

Friday, December 11: The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992, rated G)Saturday, December 12: Home Alone (1990, rated G)

There will not be any food or beverages sold on site. Holiday trees will also be available for sale at the Malibu High School Athletic Booster Club’s Christmas Tree Lot located at the Chili Cookoff site. The lot, sponsored by the City of Malibu, is helping to raise funds for the school’s athletic programs.

Attendees must adhere to posted COVID-19 safety guidelines, including wearing face coverings and maintaining 6-foot physical distancing from others. In case of weather or pandemic-related postponement, show(s) will be rescheduled for the following weekend.
