Good Thursday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Manhattan Beach Patch surf report. Well, this is probably the smallest surf we've seen in this neck of the woods in quite a while!
The conditions are fairly clean early on, with a combination of mainly minor west northwest swell and a little southwesterly energy in the water.
That recipe is offering some kinda soft semi-wally lines, with a few workable pick and choose corners. Most Manhattan Beach spots are seeing knee to waist high waves, with the focal points pulling a few stomach high plus sets.

At 9:06 this morning the tide drops to a 1.5 low which will have many breaks needing water mid-morning. The tide then climbs back up just a tad to a 2.3 low at 3:15 this afternoon, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
If you're planning on paddling, throw on at least a 3/2 fullsuit and maybe the booties, with the water temperature averaging between 56 and 57 degrees. See ya in the water!
