Going to LAX Tonight? Expect Delays
Eastbound Century will be closed at 11 p.m. between Aviation Boulevard and Bellanca Avenue.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A stretch of eastbound Century Boulevard near Los Angeles International Airport will be closed Friday night, potentially causing headaches for people trying to reach or leave the airport overnight.
Eastbound Century will be closed at 11 p.m. between Aviation Boulevard and Bellanca Avenue as Metropolitan Transportation Authority crews remove falsework from the newly constructed light-rail bridge over the roadway. The eastbound lanes, along with the left-most westbound lane, will be closed until 6 a.m. Saturday.
No additional closures on the stretch are planned this weekend, but overnight closures of the same lanes during the same hours will be repeated each weeknight next week, beginning Monday at 11 p.m. The closures will be repeated again Aug. 22-27.
