Jaws Of Life Frees Driver From Wreckage After Torrance Crash
More than one vehicle was involved in the collision but one rolled over and struck a utility pole, authorities said.

TORRANCE, CA – A vehicle struck a utility pole and the driver was injured as a result of a multiple-vehicle crash in Torrance Saturday, according to authorities. It was reported about 7 p.m. at Crenshaw Boulevard and Monterey Street, Torrance police Lt. C. Fisher said.
More than one vehicle was involved in the collision but one rolled over and struck a utility pole, Fisher said.
The driver – who had stable vital signs when hospitalized – had to be freed from the wreckage by firefighters using the Jaws of Life.

It did not appear any Edison customers lost power, Fisher said.
