Alcohol or drugs do not appear to have been factors in the crash, police said.

TORRANCE, CA – A collision with a Honda sedan left a motorcyclist critically injured Tuesday, police said.
"It appears the Honda sedan was attempting to make a right turn onto eastbound Emerald Street from an improper lane position when it collided with the motorcyclist," said Torrance police Lt. Jeremiah Hart.
Officers dispatched a little after 5:40 p.m. Sunday to Hawthorne Boulevard and Emerald Street reported that a 2003 Honda Accord driven by a 52- year-old woman had struck a 2007 Honda CBR600 motorcycle driven by a 52-year- old man. Both motorists were residents of Torrance, Hart said.
